The Nature Preserve Lichnice - Kankovy hory (mountains) is one of three parks located in Pardubice district. Its area spreads out over the main part of the Iron Mountains (Zelezne hory) ridge which is a significant dominant at the sight from Caslev and Kutna Hora. All of it is completed by the ruin of the Lichnice castle in addition. The immense value of this reservation consists in herbal and animal diversification which is represented there. It is interesting for its geological formations as well. Because of this reasons the reservation has been established.
